The Roomie App was created so that people could have an easier way to find potential roommates. When signing up, the app takes the user through a series of pages to get a sense of what the user is like, and what they are looking for in a potential roommate, asking for rent price ranges, some interests, and potential dealbreakers. The app takes inspiration from Tinder in the terms of user interface, going with the swipe based format and filters, so that it never feels like a user is out of options. The circular forms and purple and yellow color scheme was used to give the user a laid back experience, as well as to not put too much of a strain on the eyes.
